Rohit Shyam

Vice President Corporate Development and Strategy

Rohit Shyam has served as Vice President Corporate Development and Strategy since October 2007. In February 2008, he was promoted and given the additional responsibilities to head Accelrys' Marketing. Prior to joining Accelrys, Mr. Shyam served as Partner, Senior Strategy Expert and Solution Director for Computer Sciences Corporation in the Global Health Solutions sector. In his role at Computer Sciences Corporation, Mr. Shyam developed solutions that addressed industry trends and challenges in pharmaceuticals, biotech, ag-biotech and medical devices. Mr. Shyam has also held positions at IBM and Booz-Allen & Hamilton. Mr. Shyam holds a B.S. in Computer Engineering from Lehigh University and an M.B.A. from The Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
