To make it easier to engage with Accelrys, answer product questions, and stay current with industry trends, the new updated Accelrys Community and Customer Support Center now provides access to software downloads and technical resources supporting the entire Accelrys product portfolio (including “classic” Symyx products).
A new expanded Community
Check out public discussion forums for many Accelrys products including Direct, Draw and JDraw, Accord, Discovery Studio, DiscoveryGate, Materials Studio, and Pipeline Pilot. Read the Accelrys Blog with content from the legacy Symyx Blog and ongoing expert commentary from bloggers in a range of roles at the merged company.
Faster, easier access to software products and support
If you have an active maintenance agreement with Accelrys, you can download software products and access our updated Support Center in the new Community site. Note that all previous Symyx support processes and resources are now fully integrated into the new, expanded Accelrys Community and Support Center.
The Support Center enables you to:
- View your product entitlements
- Log support cases and monitor their status
- View change requests
- Find answers to your questions in product-focused areas which include product documentation, support library and knowledge base articles, and prerecorded videos
Getting started
- If you are a pre-merger Accelrys customer, you should have received an email notification about the new integrated Accelrys Community. You can log into the Support Center now using your existing username and password.
- If you previously used the Symyx Support site, you should have received a separate email containing new login credentials for the new Community and Support Center.
- To create a new account, go to the registration page.
Watch for a future announcement providing details on an upcoming webinar series that will help orient you to the new, integrated Accelrys Community and Support Center.
If you have any questions about the new Community site and Support Center, contact support@accelrys.com.

Access to LEA data is available in Isentris now. Scientists interested in displaying and comparing small variations in graphed results can overlay XY data graphs and color-coded spectra for quick and easy comparison of results.
Accelrys LEA 8.3:
One-stop Microscale, Parallel, Automated Experimentation
The 8.3 version of Accelrys Lab Execution and Analysis (LEA) software offers Accelrys Spectra Studio and administrative enhancements that improve and extend your integrated cross-experiment analytics and reporting. Accessing your LEA data via Isentris—now with enhanced LEA data visualization—makes it easier for you to combine and share laboratory results for improved design of experiments and decision making.
REGISTER NOW FOR LEA 8.3 OVERVIEW WEBINAR
LEA 8.3 features usability enhancements for comparing newly sorted data in Accelrys Spectra Studio. Spectra Studio enables you to compare and contrast images and spectra from high-throughput experimentation. For example, you can identify novel versus known spectral data by viewing, smoothing, comparing, and clustering similar spectra (Raman, FTIR, XRD) acquired through LEA software. By highlighting newly sorted spectra, LEA 8.3 makes it easier for you to compare spectra with existing references, accelerating data analysis and driving better informed decisions. In addition, data archiving improvements simplify the process of removing data from the database (or restoring data) to satisfy contractual obligations when you are working with partner companies.
Accelrys LEA software supports microscale, parallel, automated experiment design, execution, analysis, and reporting with high quality data in life science and non-life science industries. In conjunction with Isentris and future planned Pipeline Pilot™ integrations, the LEA suite provides a powerful one-stop laboratory informatics solution featuring:
- Parallel, array-based experiment design
- Automated execution of experiments
- Collection and manipulation of analytical data
- Flexible reporting across experiments
