    The New TSCA and Its Implications

Game-changing amendments to the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) became law in June 2016. Facilitated by the deployment of Dassault Systèmes BIOVIA’s Biological Registration solution, a major global biopharma is using the Pistoia Alliance’s Hierarchical Editing Language for Macromolecules (HELM) notation to represent therapeutic large molecules in its bio-registration system. HELM is rapidly evolving into an industry-standard, large-molecule structure exchange format supporting collaboration and externalization in the biotech industry.
