Visit us at the 2011 PAGE Meeting

June 7-10, 2011
09:30 - 16:00, Horizon Hall, Divani Caravel Hotel

Come and visit us on our stand at the annual PAGE Meeting being held at the Divani Caravel hotel in Athens, Greece.

Pre-Event Webinar - Population Pharmacokinetics with Pipeline Pilot
(Listen to the Recording)

Stéphane Vellay – Senior Scientist, Accelrys

Population pharmacokinetics is the study of the sources and correlates of variability in drug concentrations among individuals, who are the target patient population, receiving clinically relevant doses of a drug of interest. When clinical trials run for many years, it becomes difficult to prepare and aggregate incompatible datasets. The other key challenge is to use the disparate population pharmacokinetics application software and gather their results in a compelling way to take better decisions.

Pipeline Pilot is a scientifically intelligent implementation of a workflow technology known as data pipelining. It allows scientists to construct and execute workflows using components that encapsulate many algorithms. This flexible visual programming language captures and deploys your best-practice processes:

  • Access disparate research data among a variety of domains, such as chemistry, bioinformatics, imaging and literature searching
  • Automate the scientific analysis by encapsulating NONMEM, R, WinBUGS, Matlab and many other tools or scripting languages in a unified environment
  • Finally explore, visualize and communicate research results within your organisation.

This webinar will highlight the population pharmacokinetics tools and protocols within Pipeline Pilot for incompatible data aggregation and preparation, disparate application software automation and interactive reports deployment.

Attend the workshop - Population Pharmacokinetics with Pipeline Pilot

We'll be running a free workshop on Tuesday, June 7 at the Divani Caravel hotel. Spaces are limited so please email Adele Willacy adele.willacy@accelrys.com if you wish to participate.

Introduction to Pipeline Pilot for PKPD modellers
Guillaume Paillard – Lead Scientist, Accelrys
Stéphane Vellay – Senior Scientist, Accelrys

Pipeline Pilot is a scientifically intelligent implementation of a workflow technology known as data pipelining. It allows scientists to construct and execute workflows using components that encapsulate many algorithms. This flexible visual programming language captures and deploys your best-practice processes:

  • Finally explore, visualize and communicate research results within your organisation.

This is an introductory course that will be beneficial for users who have little or no experience with Pipeline Pilot. The course covers many of the out-of-the-box components and how to use these components to modify existing protocols and reports, or create new ones. The hands-on exercises will be related to clinical data aggregation, preparation and visualization.

On completion of the workshop attendees should have the ability to modify existing and create custom protocols and reports using Pipeline Pilot’s wide range of functionality.

We look forward to seeing you in Athens!
