BIOVIA Compose and BIOVIA Capture – Recipe and Method Authoring and Execution

Overview: Compose and Capture are key applications supporting BIOVIA’s next generation recipe/method authoring and management system.

Target Audience: Recipe/Resource manager, Lab Scientist, Lab Manager, Process Engineer

This workshop will show you how to:

  • Utilize Compose to create recipes from reusable building blocks of process stages, operations and actions
  • Create more complex parallel processes and repeatable processes, as well as incorporation of calculations within the recipe process
  • Develop recipes and work through the electronic execution of the recipe in Capture
  • Administer and manage libraries of process parameters and process steps (stages, operations, and actions)
  • Integrate Compose with BIOVIA Workbook to enable tech transfer activities from typical laboratory development scale into the kilo lab and pilot plant

Building Pipeline Pilot Protocols for New Users
(part 1 of 2)

Overview: Using Pipeline Pilot, scientist, researchers, engineers, and analysts with little or no software development experience can create scientific protocols that can be executed through a variety of interfaces including other BIOVIA solutions and third-party applications.

Target Audience: Protocol developers who are new to Pipeline Pilot, or need a refresher

This workshop will show you how to:

  • Build protocols to read data from file and write data to files
  • Manipulate and filter data
  • Create subprotocols
