Fundamentals of Pipeline Pilot |
This is an introductory course on Pipeline Pilot, which will be beneficial for all users with little or no experience with Pipeline Pilot. The course covers many of the out-of-the-box components and how to use these components to modify existing protocols or create new ones. All basic concepts necessary to create or manipulate protocols are covered |
Introduction to Reporting, Reporting Charts and Graphs |
This course covers modification and creation of basic types of reports utilizing Pipeline Pilot's Reporting Collection. |
Cheminformatics |
The focus of this cheminformatics collection course is the scientific algorithms incorporated into several Pipeline Pilot components. Topics such as molecular Fingerprints, enumeration, Tanimoto similarity, clustering, SAR analysis, MCSS will be covered. |
Text Analytics |
This course covers modification and creation of protocols utilizing Pipeline Pilot's Text Analytics Collection |
Data Modeling |
This course covers the use of Pipeline Pilot to build data modeling protocols using either Bayesian models or the Decision Trees Collection and is intended for Pipeline Pilot users already familiar with customizing components and developing custom protocols. |
Advanced PilotScript & Dataflow |
This course will teach attendees more advanced PilotScripting, including working with arrays. Topics in subprotocol creation and control of data flow are also covered. Attendees will also be introduced to the dialog components, how to run a protocol as a scheduled task and how to publish a protocol to the Web Portal. |
Interactive Reporting (Forms) |
This course covers the use of the interactive element components available in the Pipeline Pilot Reporting collection. The course covers the use of all of the interactive element components and how to use them to build interactive reports that can be deployed either from the thick client or via Webport.
The course is intended for Pipeline Pilot users already familiar with customizing components and developing custom protocols. |
ChemMining |
This course describes the basic functioning of the ChemMining Collection for chemically-intelligent text mining. The course covers the basic concepts of extracting chemical names from text documents, converting names to structures, and creating databases of structures and documents. |
Sequence Analysis |
This course covers modification and creation of protocols for biological sequence analysis utilizing Pipeline Pilot's various bioinformatics functionality in the Sequence Analysis Collection. |
R-Statistics |
This course covers the use of the R Statistics Collection. This is NOT a statistics course. But attendees will learn the scope of the R component collection, how the components work, how to process the results, and how to build customized R components.
The course is intended for Pipeline Pilot users already familiar with customizing components and developing custom protocols. |
Image Manipulation and Analysis |
Modification and creation of protocols to perform various types of image analysis and to integrate image data with other types of data utilizing Pipeline Pilot's Imaging Collection |
Integration |
This course will provide attendees with the knowledge to utilize the scripting and 3rd-party integration functionality included in Pipeline Pilot. This course covers RunProgram, VBScript, Perl and Java topics, as well as SOAP and Web Services API integration. |
Gene Expression |
This course will cover the analysis of gene expression data in Pipeline Pilot from data import, to normalization, summarization, handling missing data, annotation, selection filters, property calculators, manipulating microarray values, clustering, and reporting. We will examine how the gene expression experiment is modeled in the collection and create realistic workflows that leverage other collections such asText Analytics, Sequence Analysis, R-Stats, and Chemistry. |
HCS Data Management and Workflow |
This course will provide attendees with advanced tools for High Content Screening workflows. Participants will build interactive reports in Pipeline Pilot that will encompass: data transformation, QC, and representation. Data integration of the HCS workflow process will include: databases, images, associated analysis data, lab notebook, and excel files. |
