Gene Expression Software and Services

The “omics” revolution has ushered in the era of personalized medicine.  Through gene expression analysis, we now have genetic signatures for many diseases. Voluminous gene expression datasets have helped make these tremendous advances possible, but have also brought about a proliferation of microarray platforms, analysis tools, analysis algorithms, and publicly available genomic data repositories.  Publications and users groups change the analysis landscape at a dizzying rate and place new algorithms in the hands of researchers faster than ever before. Bioinformatics researchers have their own favorite algorithms and favorite software packages, while the bench scientists are often confused about the best way to proceed once they have generated their experimental data.  For pharma and biotech companies to remain competitive, the biology of disease and the chemistry of the treatment must be linked together quickly in an analysis backbone useable by all within the company.
