Accord Chemistry Cartridge

Enable Oracle to handle chemistry alongside numeric and textual data

The Accord Chemistry Cartridge enables Oracle databases to store, index and search chemical structures and reactions along side numerical and textual data within one underlying relational database server. It does so by integrating into Oracle the same powerful Accord Chemistry Engine that is used in all other Accord cheminformatics products.

The Accord Chemistry Cartridge supports:

  • numerous chemical formats, including SD and RD files
  • web and thick or thin client-server development
  • PL/SQL development capabilities
  • a range of chemical representation and query features, such as stereochemistry and pi-systems
  • huge volumes of data (in excess of 8 million structures)
