Discovery Studio Visualizer and ActiveX Control

The Discovery Studio Visualizer is the same application as the client that comes with the full version of Discovery Studio, but with some of the tools disabled.

Downloading and installing

DS Visualizer

The ftp/http location of the download files has been sent to the email address you provided on the webform.

Windows

  • File name: DS30Client.exe
  • Download size: 231 MB

Linux

  • File name: DS30Client.bin
  • Download size: 296 MB

To install on Windows, double-click DS30Client.exe. For Linux, run the installer by running the following command "./DS30Client.bin".

DS Visualizer ActiveX Control

The ftp/http location of the download files has been sent to the email address you provided on the webform.

Windows

  • File name: setupdsvax20.exe
  • Download size: 19.8 MB

What to Do Next

To run the program after installation:

  • (Windows) Click the shortcut provided in the Start menu .
  • (Linux) Click the shortcut placed on the desktop or add DS Visualizer (in the bin directory of the installation) to your path for command line access.

When you launch the application for the first time, you will be prompted for a license. Choose "No" and check the checkbox to not show the message again. To learn more about working with these products, refer to the product Help topics.
