Downloading DS Visualizer and DS Visualizer ActiveX Control

DS Visualizer

The ftp/http location of the download files has been sent to the email address you provided on the webform. For Linux, first extract the installer by using the command "cat setupdsv17.tar.gz | gunzip | tar xvf -" and then run the installer by using the command "./setupdsv17.sh".

Windows

Linux

DS Visualizer ActiveX Control

The ftp/http location of the download files has been sent to the email address you provided on the webform.

Windows
  • File name: setupdsvax17.exe
  • Download size: 19.8 MB

 

Installing DS Visualizer and DS Visualizer AcitveX Control

  1. Run the setup program:
    • On Windows, double click on the *.exe file
    • On Linux, run the setupdsv17.sh script
  2. When the Welcome screen appears, click the Next button.
  3. (For DS Visualizer only) After accepting the End User License Agreement, click the Next button.
  4. On the next screen, you are prompted to specify the location for the installation. You can accept the default installation location or choose an alternate location by clicking the Change button. Click the Next button.
  5. The next screen summarizes your installation choices. If you want to make any changes, use the Back button. To accept the installation choices, click the Install button.
  6. Click the Finish button to complete the installation process.

What to Do Next

After you have installed the program, run it by:

  • (Windows) Clicking the shortcut provided in the Start menu
  • (Linux) Clicking the shortcut placed on the desktop or adding DS Visualizer (in the bin directory of the installation) to your path for command line access.
