Accelrys Database Search Overview

The Accelrys Database Search application is a web-based, out-of-the-box solution designed for searching, browsing, organizing and reporting on data used by R&D organizations.

Accelrys Database Search enables scientists to access information from many different datasources in an integrated research environment from a single, user-friendly web client. By making access to data simple for the end user and bridging the gaps between data silos, Accelrys Database Search strengthens laboratory decision making by:

  • Providing an easy-to-use, forms-based one-stop-shop interface to chemists and biologists for searching, organizing, analyzing, and reporting on their data.
  • Enabling searching across diverse range of datasources from a single web-based client, regardless of underlying chemistry format, database design, or search engine.
  • Allowing compounds or assays that are of interest to be quickly tagged
  • Providing lists of query forms or design forms so you can see the data exactly the way you want

As a web application, Database Search is easily deployable across a broad organization and is intuitive to use.  The application has significant data transformation and reporting capabilities due to the Pipeline Pilot technology upon which it is built.
