Overview - Accord Enterprise Clients: Chemistry Training

This workshop provides an introduction to the three commonly-used clients for customers who have purchased the Accord Enterprise database. The workshop covers basic use of Accord for Excel Enterprise, including Accord chemistry structures, chemistry worksheet functions, registration and database queries and reports. The workshop also introduces the Accord Enterprise Workbench Client.

Audience -Accord Enterprise Clients: Chemistry Training

The workshop is aimed primarily at end-users, but may also be of interest to database administrators.


On completion of the 1-day on-site workshop the user will have covered:

  • Use of the Accord for Excel Enterprise to manipulate chemistry structures on the worksheet
  • Calculating molecular properties of structures on the worksheet
  • Use of the chemical analysis tools (eg. Searching and R-Group Analysis) within a worksheet
  • Use of the Query Editor to search the database for structures and/or assay information
  • Producing reports on returned query results
  • Use of the importing and querying Excel templates
  • Registering structures using Accord Enterprise Client
  • Use of Accord Enterprise Client system administration to create and manage salts, users and entities
