Overview: Introduction to Discovery Studio Training

The course will provide an overview of Discovery Studio and is a pre-requisite for all other Discovery Studio training workshops.


On completion of the workshop the user will have covered:

  • The Discovery Studio graphical interface
  • The menu organization
  • Explorer use and organization
  • Rearranging windows and panels
  • Use of the tools for specific tasks and protocols
  • Building and editing molecules in Discovery Studio
  • Visualizing structures using the 3D Window, Hierarchy and Data Tables
  • Analyzing data using the Table Browser
  • Displaying graphical representation of data using the Charts menu
  • Mouse functions and short-cut keys
  • Use the Help menu
